Many of you know that I have been creating watercolors throughout the year for about the last 5 years. I have sold many of them. However, I have dozens and dozens stacked up in piles in various nooks in my studio and garage. Today I started to recycle. I would like to do a series of these – where I cut up some of the paintings and combine them with pencil drawings, special papers, vellum, and other paintings. I love to collage, but I want to present the medium in a new way. I like combining the softness of the florals with more structured and geometric elements.

Alluvium Cuff

Just finished this new sculptural, “Alluvium Cuff.” It combines wire wrapping, oxidized silver and gemstones (Fluorite, Smoky Quartz, Labradorite) with free-form peyote stitch bead weaving.
