This brand new piece was inspired while swimming my laps outside at the gym. I swim a mile once or twice a week. I thought about the simple cuff form, with a minimum of wire wrapping- focusing mostly on the beadwork. I wanted the beadwork to reflect tiny waves and ridges of water, in a sculptural way. It is comfortable, light and strong and has that turquoise/patina palette with which I can work forever….
