Watercolors

I have returned from a good show in Crested Butte, CO-one of the most beautiful places on earth. This little watercolor was painted from a snap shot my husband took while hiking to Copper Lake. I was working!

These landscapes were painted loosely with watercolor and ink, then stitched free-motion with the sewing machine.    

I’m an avid runner and hiker in Colorado. These watercolors were drawn from quick snap shots I took on my phone while running or hiking this week.

When the mornings are hot, I run along Boulder Creek where it’s cool and wet and not too sunny.

I continue to work on the stitched watercolors….and the ideas keep flowing.
