It’s been quite a while since my last post in this blog. I have been busy with so many endeavors- from the beaded jewelry and shows, to free-lance designing for a couple of companies. I will be back now. I promise. And I’ll post both my daily watercolors as well as new beadwork. And beautiful…

On my Sunday long run along Boulder Creek…the shadows on the pavement were so lovely.

I created these two pieces for a feature upcoming through Artful Home, my online gallery, called “Garden Party.” Over the last three years, I have created a special, limited edition series for them focusing on floral designs- in late July and August. The passage of a couple of days through a vase of tulips. One stitched and graphic. The other loose and free.

I’m not a pink person. But these lovely Gerbera daisies and mums, and daisies just greeted me as I walked into Trader Joes. I would like to paint them also with some black in the background. Or some aqua.
