My last post in this blog is from June! I have been so busy with shows, as well as my free lance job designing sweaters and accessories for Lost Horizons. I figured: there’s no time like the present. So I will begin again posting when I can, and showing my new work as well as my daily watercolors. Today’s drawing is of dusky, fading hydrangeas in the wet garden.

Changing Leaves along 4th Street

It’s the first of November, and it feels like the peak of color for the maples and other trees changing their colors in Boulder. It’s not just the color, but the contrast of the colors against each other and against the clear Colorado blue sky.
