Yesterday, I was able to carve out a little block of time in which to paint this watercolor. The image was of plums, blackberries and grapes interspersed with hyacinths, tulips, hellebores and some other flowers- something I loved on Pinterest. Surrounded by the inky black background, the soft fruity colors pop off the paper. I love to work with dark backgrounds.
