Continue reading →I have returned from a good show in Crested Butte, CO-one of the most beautiful places on earth. This little watercolor was painted from a snap shot my husband took while hiking to Copper Lake. I was working!

But it was invigorating to make this necklace that felt very raw and contemporary, rather than floral and “pretty.” It lies beautifully on the neck, especially after re-stringing it many times to get the balance correct. I think I will do more pieces in this genre/feel.
